My Story

*Acorn must be adopted to a home with another playful and outgoing cat or kitten.* Meet Acorn, a sweet and incredibly outgoing 7 month old kitten. She is looking for the perfect home with new friends and a comfy bed she can curl up on! If you are looking for playful kitten energy, Acorn is your girl! She loves to play with any toy that catches her eye, and she especially loves chasing ball toys around. She will go crazy in a cat tunnel, and she will play with a wand toy until she is out of breath! When no toys are in sight, Acorn loves to chase her own tail. This girl refuses to be bored! She would absolutely love another kitten or cat to play and be best friends with. In addition to loving all toys, Acorn loves to scratch and climb cat trees, and she does a fantastic job of using cardboard scratchers around the house. She enjoys a wet food snack, and she is currently eating Purina One Healthy Kitten Formula. Although she is a bit of a wild child, Acorn is incredibly sweet and will nap with you, curl up on your chest while you watch your favorite show, or share your chair with you while you work. She likes to make her way under blankets and stay snuggled up with you in bed too! Acorn is a fearless kitten! She can be a little mischievous, but her sweet and curious nature more than makes up for that! She wants to be friends with every animal and human she crosses paths with. Not even hissing from the resident cats in her foster home will deter her from trying to be their friend! If you have company over, you can be sure that Acorn will investigate them before curling up beside them. As far as we know, she has not met a dog, but with her outgoing personality, we believe she would do just fine in a home with a cat loving (or indifferent) dog. Acorn is gentle in her play and does a very good job of not biting or using her nails. We believe she would do well in a home with respectful kiddos, but she does sometimes make a break for open doors. She will need to go to a home where open doors to the outside will not be readily available for her to take advantage of! Acorn is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested -/- for FIV/FeLV. To apply for Acorn, please visit catcallsrescue.org/adopt to complete an adoption application.
