Meet Alex! This distinguished senior gentleman came to Fishtails after his previous owner was no longer to care for him. Fortunately our awesome foster Tova opened her home to him and is giving him the love and care he needs until he finds his forever family.
Alex starts off a little shy and needs some time to acclimate to new environments and new people until he feels safe. But once he does, he is a complete snuggle bug. He will be a calming presence in his family's life and will jump at the chance to love them for the rest of his days.
From his foster:
"Alex, aka Alexander the Great, is truly that, GREAT! He loves the finer things in life like being brushed, having a nice conversation, exploration, and lots of snuggles. Alex enjoys his introvert time but when he wants to hang out, he will ask you, with the sweetest little meow, if it's cool to invade your space. Overall, Alex is a gentle independent cat that would be a lovely family member to come home to and vent about your busy days."
Alex will do well as a solo cat but may get along with other cats and respectful kids but is a bit too skittish for homes with dogs. He will do best with a patient family that will allow him time to decompress. Then he will reward them with unlimited cuddles and purrs!
Date of birth – 10/09/2014
