Meet gorgeous Amaryllis, our long-haired calico girl. This lovely creature became an orphan and entered our rescue, seeking a new home with devoted owners. Like all calicos, Amaryllis knows how to lay on the charm with her coquettish manners and fluffy tail swirling around her. She will twirl around her owners until she gets all the petting and compliments her little heart desires. Then, when she is satiated with her dues, human attendants are dismissed as she struts off nonchalantly with her plumy tail waving good-bye. We lover her calendar-cat exceptional looks, but even more, we love her independent spirit and her gentleness. During the day, she can also be found contemplating the meaning of life on a warm windowsill while peering at the world outside. Despite her regal looks and luxurious coat, Amaryllis doesn't let anyone forget that she is still a top urban predator as she bats her toy mouse around, honing her instinctive predatorial skills. This pretty huntress will need playtime and interactive wand toys to keep her mind stimulated. We are selectively looking for the perfect owners who are well-versed with the care of a long-haired breed. This multi-colored coat needs daily care and brushing to keep it silky and supple. Like a living work of art, Amaryllis requires attention and dedication to keeping her at optimal health and looks.
