Arundel

Hi there! My name is Arundel, and I'm a lovely short-haired Tortoiseshell girl, born around 11/25/23. I started out as a stray in Texas, but after a local rescue took me in and tried to find my family, no one came forward. Lucky for me, I made my way to Wild Blue in Colorado, and now I'm ready to find a forever family of my very own! People around here say I'm super sweet, and I'd have to agree! I absolutely love full-body pets and even roll over for belly rubs. If you find just the right spot--like my rump--you'll see me raise my hiney right up in the air! No matter where you pet me, the moment I feel your touch, I start kneading happily. I've got a cute little quirk too: when I'm feeling cozy, I like to suck on the claw of my left paw for comfort. I don't mind being picked up for a bit, and I also really enjoy some brushing. When I'm not soaking up attention, you'll probably find me perched in my favorite bay window, watching birds and people pass by outside. I get along ok with the other cats here at the rescue, but I'm really more into human companionship. I love having conversations with my people and sharing their love. I feel confident around other kitties, but I do prefer having a quiet spot to call my own. I'll need a slow, gradual transition into my new home and proper introductions with any other pets. Wild Blue will provide instructions to make that process successful for everyone. I think I'd be a great fit for a family, likely one with kids 7 years and older, who understand the importance of giving me gentle pets and knowing when I need a little break.
