My Story

Please email [email protected] for an application Ashe is quite the tall and handsome love bug. He was dumped at a local apartment complex and a previous adopter with our rescue took him in. She immediately fell in love but unfortunately, already has two pets and is unable to keep him. According to his foster mom, Ashe does not seem to mind female cats or kittens, but is not a fan of other male cats. He seems unfazed by dogs and has been neutered, vaccinated, treated for intestinal parasites, combo tested and has been on flea prevention. Ashe is negative for the Feline Leukemia Virus, but has tested positive for FIV antibodies. He can be around other cats - even those that test negative. The risk that a FIV positive cat could spread the virus to a FIV negative cat is minimal as it is transmitted through deep bite wounds. Introducing another cat slowly and properly is necessary until you are confident that they will not fight with each other. If you are willing, Ashe is quite the catch and would love a home as much as the next cat - if not more. See Link below for more information on Feline FIV. https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv
