Meet Astrid, a sweet and mellow adult cat who is full of surprises. Despite her shy demeanor, she is friendly once comfortable and has a playful spirit. Astrid is a smart and brave feline, who was abandoned, found outside and, from her reaction to quick hand movements, possibly abused. With patience and kindness, and a little wet food, her trust can be won. She loves to play with crinkle toys and catnip and has a soft spot for head and nose scratches. Astrid is a cautious cat, always assessing her surroundings before exploring. However, once she feels comfortable, her mellow side shines through, making her a perfect companion for a calm household. Adopt Astrid to experience the joy of her sweet, playful, and mellow nature. Her bravery and intelligence will surprise you every day, and her love for head and nose scratches will melt your heart. Her friendly nature makes her a perfect fit for a calm, quiet home. Astrid does well with other calm cats but has not been around dogs. She would do best in a home with no or older children.
