Aunty Em

Meet Aunty Em! Em is a super sweet, outgoing little girl who will follow us around and weave between our legs. She has a mellifluous meow she loves to share if she feels she's not getting the attention she deserves. Her coat is surprisingly soft and fluffy, and she definitely enjoys soaking up the pets. When we pick her up, she'll flop over in our arms to make sure we give her ears some good scritches. She loves being stroked nose-to-tail, too. She is a sharp and curious lady who watches everything going on at the center with a keen eye. Em prefers to do her own thing when she's out and about with the others. She never starts any trouble or ruffles any feathers. She isn't big into playing, but we think she might be more playful in a home where she doesn't have to compete for toys. Usually she just trots around the center, checking everything out and making sure it's all in order. She likes to sit in cat trees or behind kennels where she won't be bothered by the riff-raff. Aunty Em has lived with many other cats in the past. We think she would be fine with children. She has lived with a dog in the past and done well. Aunty Em is estimated to be 2.5 years old as of January 2025. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. With an approved application, her adoption fee is $37.10.
