*AZURE

Meet Azure, a beautiful, petite approximately four years young kitty who is looking for a loving home at the shelter. Azure was found in a rural area so sick and weak that she would have died if she were not rescued. We have nursed her back to health at the shelter and it has been our pleasure as she is the most happy, loving, appreciative kitty. Azure acts like a kitten when she is playing with her toys, she loves to throw them around her cage and rub on them, catnip toys especially. Azure is eager for love and affection and gives it back to you 100% and then some! Azure can't get enough petting and will be your best friend ever.Azure doesn't seem to mind other kitties at all and would probably love some playmates or snuggle partners. We don't know how she'd do with dogs, but depending on the situation, if they respect her space she could probably adjust. Azure is making up for lost time and looking forward to living her best life in a loving home where she can be the princess!Azure's right eye has some scarring from the upper respiratory infection she had. Our vet clipped away some of the adhesions on her cornea, but she might have some limited vision in that eye, but it is not causing her any discomfort. Azure has been in the processing of recovering from the severe upper respiratory infection that she came in with. She still has some mild nasal congestion, but with regular veterinary care and a good quality diet, she should be able to live with it just fine. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
