** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You will need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay neuter/surgery** This is the darling, Barley. This adorable guy was brought to us along with his siblings, Bramble and Thistle, after they were found as stray kittens. This adorable crew has an estimated birthdate of 7/29/24, so they're about 12 weeks old. This wonderful, marble furred boy loves nothing more than to get LOTS of attention from people and from his siblings. This crew of cuties are all as sweet as can be and the best of friends. Barley is the quietest and most reserved of the three, but still a complete sweetheart. He loves getting attention from people, but his favorites are still his siblings. These little sweeties are quite close and would really benefit from being adopted with a sibling, or at least another kitten from the shelter. And kittens do best in pairs too, so it's the best arrangement possible. Single Kitten Syndrome is a real thing! Kittens adopted in pairs are happier, have less long term behavioral issues and two lives are saved instead of one! Being so young, this sweet crew would do just fine in a home with other kitties or dogs. The sweethearts would LOVE to receive attention and love from children and would make for wonderful playmates for them.
