Meet Bartholomew, the cat who has quite literally seen it all. Born in the medieval era, this ancient feline was once the trusted advisor to knights and kings, helping Sir Whiskers of Pawington devise battle plans and ensure the kingdom's supply of catnip was never depleted. Legend has it, he was the first cat to sit on a throne-albeit briefly before being bribed down with a turkey leg. Bartholomew has navigated through the Renaissance (painted many a masterpiece by flicking his tail on canvases), sailed the seven seas as a pirate captain's first mate, and lived through the invention of the laser pointer (a particularly humbling experience). These days, he prefers lounging on plush cushions and overseeing household affairs, ever the noble scholar in search of a warm lap and a sunbeam. He may appear to nap, but in his dreams, he's still conquering kingdoms and guarding the realm from the scourge of vacuum cleaners. Adopt this living legend, and prepare yourself for a lifetime of stories... assuming he doesn't doze off halfway through telling them.
