My Story

Boo is a young, playful, affectionate, 1-year-old cat looking for his forever home! This sleek panther with fluffy fur is friendly with every human and animal he meets. He immediately curled up to the resident dog and was playful with his foster cat sibling. He likes to spend his day keeping his nails in check with his scratching posts, zooming around the house, watching the squirrels from the window, and napping behind the couch. This guy is very food-motivated, and loves carbs (relatable), so make sure to put your bread in the fridge or you might find little chunks missing from the loaf! Boo is very energetic. He will follow you around throughout the day, when he isn't napping. He will even follow the dog around. He typically tries to play with his foster cat brother in the evening. This handsome fellow lives in a one-bedroom house with a large dog, and a small 5-month-old orange kitten friend, Heston. He would thrive in a home with either a dog or playful cat. He tries to sneak outside, so he needs a human with a watchful eye and a safe door setup that will keep him safely inside. His forever people will also have to keep his lovely fur brushed so he can look and feel his best. This sweet panther does have FeLV. Because Boo is FeLV+, he cannot live with another cat unless it is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Boo maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life. You can read more about FeLV here: https://tinyurl.com/ycxhwcmu. Boo and his foster brother Heston (also FeLV+) get along great, but after their initial new-friend play times, they've become more like roommates/buds than a true bonded pair. With is friendly personality, I believe Boo would do well with any cat or cat-savvy dog. Of course, if he is adopted with Heston, I know he will do well, too. If you're ready for a lovely house panther to bring his high-energy joy to your family, please consider meeting Boo! Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Please fill out Pet Haven's adoption application: http://bit.ly/2fd9U2Fpethavenmnwww..org/adopt. All ages and breeds are a best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow-up visits.
