BOSTON: This gentle giant (yeah…he’s not a small boy) really wants to be loved! He came to the shelter with several feline roommates after his owner passed. He sometimes hisses when scared, but recently discovered that he can trust shelter volunteers and is now all about pets and head rubs. He may be an emotional eater (right there with you, buddy!) who would benefit from a home that’s not too chaotic, where he can relax and feel safe. He may just choose to always be a sedentary guy, but we are hoping that, once in an environment where he feels safe enough to explore, he’ll choose a more active lifestyle and shed a few pounds! He’s estimated to be middle aged…7 or 8 years old!
