Bowie and Jagger

Meet Bowie and Jagger, a bonded pair of kitten siblings! They are approximately 2.5 months old. Bowie and Jagger were found living outside in Central District with their mother and siblings when they were about one week old! Bowie, Jagger, and their siblings were so tiny they hadn’t even opened their eyes yet and could fit in the palm of your hand! There was no one to care for them, and the weather was getting colder, so ACP rescued Mama and the babies, and they’ve been safe and warm in a foster home ever since! Jagger is a sleek black boy cat with a tiny tuft of white on his chest! Jagger is long and lanky and we suspect he will be quite the handsome panther when he’s older. Jagger is a total sweetie pie. He has a sweet, loving nature and is just a joy to be around. Jagger is very athletic! He loves to chase feather wands and climb his cat tower but you’re just as likely to find him napping in his window hammock. Jagger loves a nap and will lay on your legs or in a cuddle puddle with his siblings for a snooze. Jagger was the first kitten in his litter to crawl into his foster mom’s lap and fall asleep after they left the den! Jagger loves the Red Barn Protein Puff treats. We think Jagger is the perfect balance between playful kitten energy and cuddly calm! Bowie is an adorable munchkin of a kitten! She is all black and her fur is soft and puffy right now. She has a round face and giant, sweet eyes. Bowie has three bigger brothers and where they all like to bounce around wrestling like crazy boys with no inhibitions, Bowie is slightly more timid and will hang back and observe before participating. But once she’s in, she will wrestle with her brothers and keep up! Bowie has always been the smallest kitten in the litter but she was the first one to leave the den when the kittens were three weeks old and we think that sums up Bowie pretty well! Bowie loves chasing toys and she loves to curl up next to her mother or Jagger to nap. Bowie loves darting in and out of hidey holes and enjoys napping in den-like spaces. Together, they make a sweet, wonderful pair. What Bowie and Jagger are looking for in a home: - They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair. - A new home will be a big change for them, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them feel comfortable with new experiences. - They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active playtime. - They feel at ease in a quiet and calm environment. - They need to live indoors only. - Bowie and Jagger grew up in their foster home with their siblings and mother, but they have not had exposure to other cats. - Bowie and Jagger haven’t interacted with dogs apart from seeing their foster mom’s dogs through a baby gate! They seemed a little unsure and timid of their foster mom’s German Shepherd but not aggressive. - Bowie and Jagger have not interacted with children. But they are small and Bowie can be a little timid so we think an adult-only home or a home with older children who understand boundaries and would be able to treat them with gentleness and understanding would be best.
