My Story

*** If you have any questions or would like to meet any of our adoptable cats, email [email protected]. Please include a cell number and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a timely response. Meet Brixie, an enchanting 6-month-old female tortie kitten with a unique and beautiful coat of mixed black, orange, and cream hues. Found as a stray, she is the smallest of her litter and is well aware of her petite size, which often makes her a bit shy. However, Brixie is a sweet and affectionate girl, perfectly suited for a one-on-one bond with her forever human. Her heart is full of love and she is a purr machine, especially when she gets comfortable and starts head nudging, digging, and rolling around like a worm. Her kneading, affectionately known as muffin-making, can extend to you or even just the air, showcasing her endearing and loving nature. Despite her initial shyness, Brixie gets along wonderfully with other cats and has shown her ability to thrive in the company of her foster family’s 12-year-old. While she hasn’t had much exposure to a wide range of humans, her interactions with those she knows are filled with love and warmth. Her favorite spots include the cat tree near the window, just two feet from the ceiling, where she loves to perch and observe, as well as cozying up on the bed for a nap. Brixie's gentle and sweet demeanor, combined with her playful antics, make her a delightful and charming companion who will bring joy and love to her new home.
