Buttercup

Buttercup is a beautiful 3 1/2 year-old calico cat who has come a long way on her journey to find her forever home. When she first arrived at our shelter, she was quite shy and needed a lot of love and patience to blossom. It took time, but with gentle care, she now allows some of our volunteers to give her a soft touch. Buttercup will thrive in a calm, adult home with a cat owner who is experienced with shy cats and who understands that love comes in quiet forms. She will need a dedicated room to call her own while she adjusts to her new surroundings and feels comfortable venturing out at her own pace. Buttercup may be able to co-exist with another feline friend, as long as they are respectful of her boundaries and give her ample space. However, she would prefer to be the queen of her own castle, where she can receive all the love and attention she deserves. If you are looking for a gentle soul who will blossom with time and understanding, Buttercup might be the purrfect fit for your quiet home. Buttercup's adoption fee is $200. *To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.* Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats. Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available.
