After 10 years together, Candy's owner took her to the emergency vet clinic to be euthanized because her other cats picked on Candy. Thankfully, the vet persuaded Candy's owner to surrender her to them. The vet asked us to take Candy and find her a good home. Indoor homes only unless the cat is part of our barn cat program. Home visits are required so we are limit adoptions to counties adjoining Linn County, Iowa. Iowa adoptions only -no out of state adoptions.
