Hi there! Im Cardinal. Im a shy boy, not too sure about humans just yet. I was born as a part of a colony of feral cats. That means that all of the older cats who helped raise me are extremely scared of people. That is, except for one feral kitty who taught me that people can bring great things, like food! One day, that nice cat accidentally walked right into the front door of a home and I followed him. Although he quickly realized he wasnt supposed to be there, I enjoyed the warmth, especially since I was very sick. I let the human there scoop me up, make me feel better, and introduce me to belly rubs. I really like the belly rubs part! After a few weeks with this human, Im finally ready to meet more people. Living inside is still very new to me, so I think a calmer home with older kids (or kids who have been around cats before) would be best for me. Ive never met a dog before, but I do love other kitties. If you think Im the boy for you, come meet me!
