My Story

Hello, my furiends! Welcome the lovely Carlotta to the Scruffy Paws family! Carlotta came to Scruffy Paws almost a year ago; you may remember our post about the Pampers Kittens (see video link!). Quite literally, a call from Providence Animal Control about a taped Pampers box stuffed with kittens left by a dumpster. And yes, it's a cruel occurrence we encounter too often - but these little furbabies have gone from a Pampers box to being pampered by everyone at Scruffy. They arrived scared and skittish, and after some foster boot camping, Carlotta is ready to find her forever home! Carlotta, a gorgeous brown and white Ragdoll, is just over a year old. This blue-eyed beauty is quite popular at the shelter, and she may or may not be in a cat love triangle with her sister, Elphaba, and resident stud, Guido. She is often found napping, cuddling, and being groomed by Guido in their little cubby. Carlotta also enjoys playtime, mealtime, and getting pets and attention...but will get nervous with quick movements. Carlotta, a bit of an attention diva, will act like she doesn't want you to pet her, but once you do, she goes crazy for it, even making a few dolphin jumps in the air. We suggest having her stay in a separate room until she feels comfortable in her new surroundings. Another cat in the home is a must for Miss Carlotta. In her foster home, she has been around other cats and a dog and has responded well to them. A home with older children would be best. To see Carlotta's arrival, follow the Facebook link! https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1130758804960205 Thank you for being so interested in adopting from Scruffy Paws Animal Rescue!
