Carolina Reaper (Photos 2/13/2025)

Carolina Reaper is a 2-year old female kitty who was brought to the HSOV on February 7, 2025 by a Good Samaritan who found her on Morris Loop Road in Marietta Ohio a few days earlier. Carolina was not wearing a collar, and she was not microchipped. This beautiful girl has a gray tabby short smooth coat with a patch of white on her chest, white paws, a long ringed tail, and an adorable face with pale green eyes, a splash of white on her muzzle, and long white whiskers. Carolina Reaper was understandably very nervous for the first few days after finding herself in a small cage in an unfamiliar place. Our compassionate HSOV kennel techs gave her a little time to settle in while gaining her trust and also letting her know that they loved her unconditionally. Carolina Reaper weighs 7.8 lbs. Since she was not reclaimed, we will have Carolina Reaper spayed and find her a great home.
