While some hardworking cats may eventually warm up to human interaction, others may prefer minimal or no contact with humans at all. Provide ongoing shelter in an accessible and permanent building after the acclimation period. Supply food and fresh water close to the same time every day, establishing a predictable schedule to teach your barn cat that you are a regular food source.
