Chauncey

Chauncey is an English name that means “luck” or “fortune”. How appropriate as Chauncey’s adopter will surely be lucky and fortunate to welcome him into their home. Chauncey is new to the Sanctuary at Haafsville. He is currently hiding in cats huts to acclimate to his new environment. This is understandable as shelters can be overwhelming to some cats. He appears to be a sweet and silly boy. When you reach in to pet him, Chauncey grabs your hand with his paws and gives you gentle kitty nibbles and kisses. With reassurance and TLC from the volunteers, we expect Chauncey to be a gentle and affectionate boy. We have not yet been able to determine his comparability with other cats.
