My Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. *This animal is located at our same-day adoption center partner, St. Louis Park PetSmart. Please contact this location prior to visiting to ensure this animal is still available. A paper adoption application will be completed on site so please do not submit an online adoption application. For more information on adopting from one of our adoption center partners, please visit our Adoption Center Animals page. Meet Cheeto, a big, bright orange and white male kitty with a heart as big as his personality! Estimated to be around 1 year old, Cheeto transferred from another rescue and is ready to find a home to call his own. This happy-go-lucky kitty absolutely loves human attention and will quickly approach his kennel door to greet you with excitement whenever you enter the room. His joyful, playful nature makes him a delight to be around. While Cheeto doesn't seem to mind the other cats, slow introductions are always recommended to ensure everyone gets along. Dogs and kids are unknown, but with his friendly demeanor, he's sure to adjust well with a little patience. If you're looking for a big, lovable companion who's always up for some attention and fun, Cheeto might be the perfect fit for you! Cheeto joined us from a shelter in Hibbing, MN. To learn more about Ruff Start's adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page. If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
