My Story

My foster writes: Cherry Sherry is truly the sweetest most affectionate cat ever! She loooooves to snuggle and purr on your lap and is super chill and easygoing. She uses her litterbox great and spends most of her time just lounging around. My partner and I both work from home and she loves the attention, but I think she could probably get used to in-person work as well. She's also very chill with strangers, sometimes a bit shy but usually gets comfortable pretty quickly. I don't think she has an aggressive bone in her body, just full of love and snuggles! A volunteer writes: What a pretty cat Dame Cherry Sherry is, lighting up her kennelwith splashes of white andorange. She is a sweetone too, blinking slowly hereyes at me as I talk to her softly. Cherry Sherry's owner passed away but somehow, found herself in the street for a few days before beingfound by a neighbor and brought to the Manhattan Care Center. She already hada cold that is now on the mend. Cherry Sherry is a very gentle and calm senior, quite friendly and who really enjoys being with people(see her video). She aced as I expected her behaviorevaluation. I see her as a wonderfullap cat who will give her new owner a lot of love. Pretty Cherry Sherry is in need of TLC to recover from the ordeal she went through. Helping a senior in need is a blessing and with Cherry Sherry, you will not regret your decision. Come and meet her very soon at the Manhattan Care Center. Cherry Sherry immediately came forward when spoken to with a fairly high tail and standing tall. She was relaxed and curious, loved all petting leaning in for cheek rubs and never tired of attention. She devoured squeeze up and temptations and fairly calm if a little squirmy when picked up and held but remained friendly and sweet when set back down. Please note that this cat is being treated for a medical condition at the time of evaluation. It does not appear that the medical condition is affecting her behavior. Cherry Sherry interacts with the assessor, appreciates & solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is suitable for any level of adopter experience.
