Hi! I'm Chevy. No, not the car -- the kitten! Me & my sibs were taken in by a person who named all of us after cars. No complaints here, tho, since we were all orphans and had to be fed with a bottle. I don't even remember my mom-cat; we were just a few days old. And I was the runt of the group. I was half the size of my brother Bentley! Fast forward to now. We all grew up healthy & happy. I'm still the smallest, but my foster mom says I'm the leader of the pack. I'm the one who explores, thinks up fun games, and teaches the others. I was the first to learn how to hiss, that I could fluff up my tail, and that the grown-up cat here is actually nice. I'm the one who discovered that boxes are great toys. The game I created: One of us hops in the box and hides -- that's the monster -- and the other kittens have to subdue the monster. Or tip the box over and spill the monster out. Then there's the game of sneak-in-one-of-the-cupboards & then jump out! Surprise! Shoes or boots are also good for the hide-and-jump-out game. Okay, some of my games are mischievous -- I'm a kitten, after all -- but the Christmas tree is still standing. Other things to know about me: I love small balls, wands to leap for & boxes with crinkly paper. Chasing things - I love chasing anything that moves. There's a small dog here & I'm cool with him. But most of all I love people. (My foster mom says that's because of the bottle feeding.) I let my foster mom know how much I love her by purring whenever she picks me up. There's a big man here who likes to watch TV and I sit on his lap and purr. I'm a big believer in purring. Come visit me and I'll show you.
