Meet Chicken! Chicken is a resilient senior lady, estimated to be around 10 years old, with a resting grumpy face that perfectly complements her independent personality. She’s not your typical lap cat, Chicken prefers to keep to herself, making her the ideal companion for someone who is looking for a peaceful and low-maintenance pet. Chicken has a touching backstory. She lived outdoors her entire life, cared for by a kind person who regularly fed her. Unfortunately, when that person moved away, Chicken was left without anyone to provide for her, and she struggled to find food on her own. Thankfully, she was rescued and brought indoors, where she has blossomed. Though it took her some time to adjust, Chicken has settled into the comforts of indoor life beautifully and is thriving in her foster home. When Chicken decides she’s ready for affection, she’ll surprise you with her sweet side. She’ll purr softly and lean into your hand for gentle pets, showing just how much she appreciates kindness. Most of the time, though, she’s content to relax quietly and observe her surroundings. Given her timid nature, Chicken would do best in a calm home with older, respectful pets who understand Chicken isn’t interested in playing much.
