My Story

*** Cindy Bear is in a foster home. *** Cindy: gray/cream tabby, medium hair, spayed female, born approx. 2/15/24, #19541 Cats: good Dogs: unknown Children: calm older kids BACKGROUND: A Good Samaritan stumbled upon a hungry kitty and took her home. Much to her surprise, Cindy Bear was pregnant and delivered six kittens! Once they were weaned, she began giving the kittens away, which is when a Rescue House foster learned of the situation and wanted to help. Cindy Bear and her three remaining kittens moved into our care and are now ready to find their forever homes! PERSONALITY: Cindy Bear is a quiet-natured kitty who likes to be in your company. Once she adapts to a new place and people, she'll follow you around and enjoys just chilling. Cindy Bear likes pets and especially chin and booty scritches. She'll rub up against your legs. While she's not super-keen on being held, she's easy to pick up and handle, and she'll settle near you so she is in petting reach. (A nice cat bed for lounging is appreciated.) Cindy likes her sturdy scratching posts so she can stretch out while she scratches, and she is also fond of wand toys. Sweet and docile, Cindy Bear is an endearingly gentle kitty. COMPATIBILITY: Cindy Bear is comfortable with other cats. She has not met dogs to our knowledge. Since she is a more reserved kitty who appreciates routine, a quieter home with calm older children would suit her better than a busy and active household. Cindy is ready to be your sweet and loving companion. Will you open your heart and home?
