Meet Clay! Clay came into the rescue the weekend of Christmas 2023. The rescue was at the local shelter to save Nutmeg the Pig and a shelter representative asked if we had space for a cat at risk of euthanasia. Clay was in a shelter cage, curled up in a small ball with his back to the door. He was terrified and not thriving in the shelter setting. Our founder immediately agreed to take him, saving his life.
Clay is now in a foster home, living his best life. He’s estimated to be between 8-10 years old and an old soul. He loves napping, especially cuddled up next to his foster mom, and made himself part of the pack immediately with the resident cats and dogs in the house. He’s a peaceful, loveable, gentle boy that wants nothing more than a soft bed and someone to cuddle with. He’s ready and waiting to find the perfect forever home for him.
