Meet Coco. Coco is a rescue from New York who has left the north behind her for a chance at finding her forever home. Coco loves to cuddle, be scratched under her chin and on her head once she gets to know you. She is nervous in new places and with new people, so her new family will need to have some patience as she adjusts to her new home. Once she is comfortable she loves to play and will even fetch. She enjoys sharing a bed with her people at night, laps, being brushed, and using her scratching post. Coco is said to be smart and attention demanding. Because of Coco's initial shyness, no history with children, and the fact that she doesn't like her tail to be touched, we are recommending a home with children 10+ years old who will respect her boundaries. Coco has never lived with another animal but may do well with 1 other respectful cat with a slow introduction. Please stop by the shelter today to say hello to Coco.
