My Story

Cole is a friendly older fellow who loves to be the center of attention, especially when there are neck scratches and pets involved. He will reward you with all of the headbutts he can offer! Cole would prefer a home without any dogs, but he has experience living with other cats. This sweet boy can't wait to find his new home! You'll likely notice Cole's "scrunched up" ears. That condition is called a cauliflower ear and is the result of past trauma to the area. As far as veterinarians know, it is not painful and does not impact a pet's hearing or day-to-day life. It can, however, predispose a cat to more frequent ear infections though it is not known if Cole is likely to have more ear infections or not. Keeping the cauliflower ear clean and keeping the pet on preventatives (to avoid ear mites) can usually reduce the likelihood of recurrent ear infections. If you or someone you know is interested in opening up your home to Cole, then come by the Adoption Center!
