Cosette

Precious, precious, gorgeous, gorgeous! Those two words sum up Cosette, this longhair tortoiseshell beauty. She came to us starving and matted but with a sweet, gentle personality that just melted our hearts. She was found wandering the streets of Gilbertsville and when brought to a vet, was diagnosed with lungworm a respiratory distress caused by eating snails or slugs or mice that have eaten those garden creatures. When a kitty is hungry, he/she will eat anything! She has been completely healed now and is ready to find a quiet loving home where she will never be turned outside again. Cosette loves her Fancy Feast Medleys canned food, and to be brushed. She rolls over for tummy pets and brushing. She is still a bit hesitant to be picked up but shows her love and devotion by being close and gently meowing for pets and kisses. Cosette would be OK as a single, but she also loves other cats and kittens. In her foster home, she has accepted a sweet shy kitten named Simone that she cares for like a momma cat. Either way, her foster mom will be looking for the purrfect home for this beautiful girl. She will only adopt to true non-smokers and non-vapers.
