My Story

Cowboy is a free-spirited, adventurous girl with a playful heart. She has a wild side and enjoys exploring her surroundings, but she's also known for her sweet and affectionate nature. Cowboy loves to be the center of attention, and her antics will keep you entertained for hours. Whether she's bounding through the house or curling up next to you, Cowboy is the perfect combination of spunky and snuggly. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
