Croissant was a Waverly stray that a WPR foster home was feeding. She asked if she could foster the cat, could we take her in so that's what we did. Croissant is now up to date on shots, spayed, and tested FeLV / FIV negative.
Meet Croissant. She is about a year old as of January 2025. She is a sweet girl. She got her name because of her pastry-colored fur. Not only does she love lap cuddles and being pet, she is also a rare beauty, only 1 in 5 orange cats are female. She was saved from a cold brutal winter and wants nothing more than a loving home. She has shown so much growth in her trust with humans, once she knew she was safe it was all love and kisses from her. If you want a companion who will curl up with you when you get home or uplift you from a hard day, Croissant will always be there to cheer you up with love. Please consider adopting Croissant.
If set up properly and given time, Croissant does well with other cats. She has not been around dogs or children.
Croissant's adoption fee is $95.00.

All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $250 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
