CHECKERS is a wonderful, loving, gal! She loves being a lapcat, having had an owner her first 4+ years. She loves to be petted and purrs a lot. She is 5 years old and a wonderful cat. She is smart, laidback, and can be talkative!
CHECKERS is incredible! You will adore her...she loves people and attention. She starts off a little shy, until she's comfortable with you, but then she is a total mush! She grew up with FIONA, so ideally they'd be adopted together, at a discounted adoption fee.
CHECKERS is well-adjusted, social, loving, and has great litter box habits!
CHECKERS is slightly active, but generally a couch potato, and she will make an incredible lap cat! She is intelligent, and quick to learn. She will quickly adjust to your cats, and maybe even your dogs.
There will be a lot of demand for CHECKERS. She will have an adopter very quickly! Make sure to send an email requesting an application. She will need to be picked up this coming week! IF YOU ARE NOT READY FOR IMMEDIATE ADOPTION, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY!!!
Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.
All of our cats and kittens are rescues, either from shelters or surrendered to us by their owners.
All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.
We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.
Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations. The care that we provide, the animals that we rescue, all costs are covered out of pocket, so our adoption fees are higher than what you may find at a funded or government shelter.
