My Story

Meet Dan, an adorable orange and white tabby born in August 2024! This little guy is full of curiosity and charm, always eager to explore his surroundings. He's friendly, playful, and has been raised around respectful children and well-behaved dogs, so he's ready to adjust to a loving home. Since he's still small, young kids should be supervised, but Dan is all about making new friends--especially other cats! Fun fact: Around 80% of orange cats are male, and many are known for their outgoing, social personalities--just like Dan! He's never been alone in his life--his brother Jimmy is also available for adoption, and we highly recommend a feline companion close in age for the best socialization and comfort. If adopting two isn't an option, be prepared to give Dan plenty of extra love and attention as he settles in. This sweet boy is ready for his forever home--maybe it's yours? When adopting a kitten, consider a second kitten to avoid "single kitten syndrome". Two kittens keep each other busy, get into less trouble, are better socialized and can keep each other company while you're gone. When introduced properly, most cats and kittens adjust well to children and other pets in the home. It's critical that cats have a safe place to retreat to if interactions become overwhelming and that all early interactions are well supervised. If you already have a cat, please talk to us about how to introduce them to each other successfully. All our cats and kittens are litter box trained, spayed or neutered, up-to-date on shots and worming and have been treated for fleas. They also are microchipped with a complimentary registration fee. The fee for all our cats and kittens is $200 plus tax, with a $50 discount for adopting a second cat or kitten. If you're interested in adopting, please complete an application at www.catspawjamas.org. If you're "just browsing", consider making a donation to our rescue via our website to help us continue to save cats and kittens at risk of death or homelessness.
