Dante, a vibrant 1-year-old male with a sleek black coat and boundless energy, was found as a stray and brought to MWHS. He is a playful and affectionate kitty who likes people and will greet everyone who walks through the door. But he is also pretty independent and even though he loves people, he also likes to have plenty of time to entertain himself with all the enrichment you can provide him. Dante is a clear communicator and will let you know when he is ready for some alone time and would like an owner who will respect when he has had enough! He is seeking a forever family who can indulge his urge to play. He is very well known with his foster family as being obsessed with catnip, laser toys and anything he can pounce on. While he does have a ton of energy, he isn't a destructive boy and is happy to use scratchers and other appropriate items. When it is time to power down, Dante loves to curl up next to his favorite people on the couch and snooze...but only until it is time to play again! Dante would do great in a family that understands cats, and will also appreciate a place where he is the king of the castle. Come meet Dante and let him bring some excitement into your life!
