My Story

*** If you have any questions or would like to meet any of our adoptable cats, email [email protected]. Please include a cell number and check your SPAM folder if you do not receive a timely response. Meet Duchess! This beautiful front-paw declawed, 1-year-old grey tabby girl was rescued from a high kill shelter in Tennessee where she was at risk of euthanasia. She made the long trip to NAWS to save her life and has been living in a loving foster home while waiting to find her forever home. According to her foster, Duchess is an absolute sweetheart. She is a dainty girl that is friendly and loves attention. She will meow to let her foster know she is looking for some love or playtime. She seems good with other animals. She is a darling girl that is going to make a wonderful addition to a home. Want to help care for her while she waits to find her forever home? You can be a "Sponsor!" Click on the "sponsor" button on this profile and your one-time donation will be used for vital everyday essentials such as her food, litter and medical care! Thank you for helping save lives! All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up to date on vaccines. A Cat Adoption Application is required should you decide you’d like to apply to adopt a NAWS cat. Please complete and submit the application electronically on our website at http://www.nawsus.org.
