Duke is a big, adorable fluffster! He is a little cautious in new situations, but it seems that playing is the way to his heart and he just can't resist wand toys, feathers and those SmartyKat electronic toys. After a good workout with his toys, it's time for him to catch some z-z-z-z's. Then he'll be up for some pets and being held, at least for a while. Duke's accustomed to being an indoor/outdoor kitty and hanging out with his feline friend Ruby, who is also available for adoption if you're interested in a cute pair. He lived with an older gentleman who could no longer care for him and is used to being in a calm environment. Duke is trying to come to terms with his new situation and is keeping a low profile, but it's clear that he is a friendly, gentle and playful guy who just needs time to settle in.
