Calling all senior cat lovers!! This beautiful, eleven year old all-black cat Ebby was brought to EASEL after his people could no longer care for him. Do not let his age fool you, this older guy is still young at heart! He is a love bug that wants nothing more than to be in your lap and refresh his knowledge of what it means to be a spoiled housecat. The most adorable thing about Ebby would have to be the way he thinks he meows, but nothing comes out! It's his gentle way of speaking, especially about his dinner. He will cuddle up to you for hours on end if you let him, and loves to bird watch out his window. He is a favorite amongst volunteers, not only because he's our oldest resident and deserves all the extra love in the world, but also because he is just such a good boy. He has been an absolute trooper for everything life has thrown at him, but when he's had enough he will certainly let you know with a little grumpy grumble. However, that grumpy grumble only tends to come out during his vet visits -- and who can blame him? Ebby deserves to live out the second half of his life back in someone's cozy home. He's not necessarily a playful cat and would do just fine sleeping and window-watching most of the day.
