*** Edith is at Cat & Craft in Vista. *** Edith: white/orange/black calico, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 4/14/24, #19537 Cats: enjoys Dogs: unknown, possibly Children: gentle kids okay BACKGROUND: Edith was born in the desert of Imperial County and had found herself at a local shelter that is low on resources and adoption opportunities; when we had an opportunity to help some of their cats, Edith was one of the ones who transferred to our care to find herself a happy home closer to the coast! PERSONALITY: Edith is QUITE the character. She has tons of fun and is packed with personality! (She's a bit of a rascal.) This friendly girl loves getting pets and attention and doesn't hesitate to ask for her share. Edith will join you on the couch for snuggles and quality time when she's feeling mellow. She's young, though, and thus she loves to play---pretty much anything is fair game... mousies... springs... laser lights... let's go! Edith is something of a snoop and she feels the need to explore everywhere; you may find her on top of the refrigerator enjoying the view. One exploration mishap left her with singed whiskers when Edith tried to investigate the egg her foster was frying at the time on the gas stove... We suggest keeping her away from open flames and to watch out when you're cooking, but one thing's for sure: you'll never be bored with Edith around! COMPATIBILITY: Edith enjoys the company of other cats and will snuggle with her feline friends. We don't know her thoughts on dogs, though suspect if she gets proper introduction that she may do well. She would likely do well with gentle children. Everything is interesting to Edith!
