*Ellie

Please welcome Ellie! This sweet, gentle little girl is a just a few years old and is on the road again to finding her furever home. She was surrendered back to Desert Paws recently from her previous adopters due to a hospice situation. She has been nothing but an angel since coming back into rescue. Ellie is a very gentle and quiet little lady. She does enjoy playtime in way of dangling her mice from above her and then dropping them back down. Her most favorite household staples are the cardboard scratchers and a dome bed to curl up in. Bonus points if there’s a soft blanket in the dome bed! She is also very tolerant of being held, and her purr has quite the motor on it! She also thoroughly enjoys laying atop a cat tree if it has a window view. You’ll notice Ellie has a very special and unique look to her face. Her beautiful green eyes are slightly crossed but do not lack an ounce of longing for constant affection and attention as they gaze up at you. While she may be on the petite side, this little girl has a mighty voice when she decides to use it! This usually means she’s just happy, or hungry. So far she hasn’t been very interested in meeting any of the resident kitties or pups in the home, but her new foster environment is still growing on her so we don’t blame her.
