My Story

Elspeth the Scottish Fold/British Shorthair is lovely little sweetheart with a velvety-soft white coat, crystal blue eyes, and grey striped tail and ear tips. Shy at first, Elspeth will need a patient adopter who is willing to give her the love and support he needs to come out of her shell. Due to her temperament, she will need to be adopted into a quiet home with another friendly kitty to help give her confidence and show her the ropes. This kitty is part of a large group that were rescued from poor conditions and have required vet care over and above the norm. The adoption fee is $250 per cat plus $250 tax-deductible donation per cat that will be used towards veterinary care for their group. If you are viewing on Petfinder and cannot see photos or would like to apply for this kitten, please visit our website www.frecklesfoundation.org ***Please note that the first step in the process is to complete our nonbinding application which does not commit you in any way, but allows us to help you to find a great match. Our application review process also includes a veterinary reference check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives (if applicable) and examined annually by your vet.*** Cats adopted through Freckles Foundation & Animal Rescue must be indoor only and may not be declawed unless already declawed at the time of rescue.
