Ellie is thankful to be indoors in a cozy cat bed on this very cold winter day. Ellie was rescued by Thanks for the Tip TNR in December. She was living in a large colony of cats in the garage of a property owner who passed away. Ellie was placed with a foster until she was vetted.
Ellie is very sweet, loves to cuddle, and gets along great with other cats. She doesn’t like loud noises and would do best in a quieter home with someone who is home a lot to snuggle with her. She would be happiest in a home without dogs, and she will definitely need a feline friend or two.
Ellie had a wound on her neck when she was spayed that had to be cleaned out by the vet, so she will not be ready for any meet and greets until her beautiful medium-long coat has grown back on her belly and neck. Ellie tested negative for FIV, FeLV and feline heartworm. She has been treated for fleas and dewormed. She is spayed and vaccinated.
The vet estimated that Ellie is about a year old, but she has grown since she arrived in foster a month ago, has the lanky build of an adolescent kitten, and has gorgeous white teeth. Her current foster estimates that she is no more than 10 months old.
Ellie is looking for her forever family. Will it be you?
