Emma

Named after Mrs. Emma Peel from the 1960's TV show The Avengers, Emma is an independent 7 year old gal who needs to be the only pet in the home. She is very playful with her toys, loves to scratch on scratching posts, cat loungers, anything so she can satisfy that natural instinct. While she's not a lap cat, she adored being near her owner, and could be found laying behind his head, purring away while he sat in his lounge chair watching TV, or sitting on his desk overlooking the deck where she could watch the birds and squirrels eat from their feeders while he worked away. She slept in his bed every night, curled up by his knees, and was his punctual morning alarm clock, firmly letting him know it was time for her breakfast. She's a tidy cat and uses her litter boxes with no problem and she keeps herself clean. We are able to keep her in our Dad's house for the time being, and would prefer to move her from his house straight to a foster as she does not do very well cooped up in a kennel.
