Hello my name is Evellyn and I am new here at the shelter. I am nervous but I make myself be brave. For example I had been here just a day or two and the cat lady came to see me. I did not even have a name yet. She smiles at me and said "well, hi pretty girl." I came to the cage door for a rub. She ask me if I was sweet and then she said " why, yes she is." I liked hearing that good news. I then gave a big sigh of relief and started to eat just a little of my cat food out of the food bowl I was standing by. I like to be held, but as of now I still need to be near the door of my cage. I really love to be rubbed and I am very friendly. I am about two years old. I am also very, very pretty. I probably would do better in a home without small kids because they would scare me. I would love a calm, quiet home where I got rubs and kisses on my head. So if you feel in your heart you would like to have me as your forever friend, I hope to see you soon. I am Evellyn Adoption fee is $75.00 and includes first shots, worming and sterilization.
