I was told that I am about 11 years old but also that I don't look that old. I guess I am one of the lucky ones that looks younger than my age - lucky me! The vet said I am in good health, as far as they can tell without doing all those tests they like to do on older kitties. When I came to SCC, they looked in my mouth but it is really hard to determine a cat's age when they are between certain ages. However, it was noticed that I seem to be missing several of my bottom teeth. I am very sweet (per the vet) and had no issues with being handled, even when blood was drawn for my Feline Leukemia/FIV test. That test was negative, and I have been microchipped, given my vaccinations, wormed, treated for fleas, and I was already spayed before coming into foster care. I am okay with most cats, but I have never been around dogs. I might be okay with them if they like cats and we have time to get to know each other. The only thing my foster was told specifically, is that I HATE kids! They are just too noisy and active for me!
