Florence

Petite Florence captured our hearts from day one. When she arrived with so many others at the beginning of October she was in very bad shape. On arrival she was clearly emaciated & had urine burns to all four paw pads. Her feet were bleeding & she was in so much pain she couldn’t walk. Florence needed surgery to remove her left eye and it was heartbreaking to see how badly she’d been abused. Rescue can be very hard in those moments but we always focus on what we can do to ease suffering and promote healing. Florence has been a real trooper through everything and she’s healed beautifully from her surgery and laser treatments. It’s a testament to her personality that she’s trusted us to help her. She’s a very sweet girl indeed.
