Meet Fox - a sweet cuddle companion cat! He is a 4-year-old male neutered orange tabby, and he is the sweetest little boy! He has one of the sweetest cat personalities. If food is out on the table/counter and Fox doesn’t try to eat any of it, he eats his own food. This beautiful gentle boy with huge expressive eyes is a cuddle bug, extremely affectionate, and very gentle. He was brought to a nearby Vet hospital by his previous owner for euthanasia for chronic urinary issues. They were able to rehome him temporarily, but the new owner can no longer take care of him. He is currently doing very well on C/D (a prescription urinary diet), and will have to be on this exclusively for life. He has not had a urinary obstruction and his urinary symptoms are well controlled. The previous owner discovered he doesn’t like enclosed litter boxes so once he changed that up there were no issues. However one consideration is his affliction with hairbands and loose shoelaces, he won’t go and take laces out of shoes but if they’re loose on the ground he may swallow them. Therefore, he has a history of at least two foreign body surgeries. Pet insurance is recommended! In terms of his personality, he is a love bug!!! Fox is a very easy-going and mild cat, even when he was kept in the vet clinic for a short period despite all the stresses and loud noise, he was a very easy-going and sweet guy. He loves to greet you at the door and sleep in bed/cuddle every night, he loves his toys and to play fetch. He’d make the perfect addition to a tidy home, with someone looking for a companion that will display a lot of affection. The vet hospital that took him in is offering 1 year of free unlimited exams (Emergency Exams, Treatments, Lab work and Medications are not included). Fox is wonderful and will fill your home with love and cuddles!
