Francesca

This is Francesca. We consider her one amazing cat. Her owner kept her outside with many other cats. Everyone knew the neighbors took care of the group and fed them regularly. One day, Francesca disappeared from the group. Weeks later, she literally shows up on the doorstep of a neighbor with a dying kitten. She refused to leave it. Francesca just sat there waiting for help. It was her kitten! We don't know if there were more babies, yet this kitten was starving to death and injured. Francesca was hurt and could not nurse! Fast forward... Francesca has been treated, spayed and ready for adoption. She is not going back outside. This hero needs a real home. As for her kitten "Piper" she is in a foster home and was bottle raised. She will need a surgery when she is 3 months old and then she will be up for adoption as well. The shelter has an appointment only policy. We ask potential adopters to fill out our application, prior to a scheduled meeting. The staff is very accommodating, and we welcome any inquires.
