My Story

Meet Frankie, the flame point lynx point. Although Frankie may look firey, he is more of a shy sweetheart. The world is a bit scary for Frankie and he will need a patient adopter to help him adapt to his new home. He arrived to the Shelter as a stray by walking into someones garage in a friendly manner. Upon arrival to the Shelter, Frankie was tolerant but shell shocked by his new surroundings. Frankies behavior is likely impacted by the busy Shelter environment but he also may be more of a wallflower type of kitty who would prefer a quiet home environment. We do not have any history of Frankie with other kitties but a friendly feline companion in his next home introduced through a slow, thoughtful introduction may be a fit. Due to Frankies shy nature a home with mellow children and/or dogs is required (if any at all). Frankie would thrive in a safe, indoor home due to his coloration and personality. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locations Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end meet and greets (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
