Gennaio

Say Hello to Gennaio!!! Gennaio was rescued due to a family getting a dog and Gennaio not enjoying having a dog in the home at all.  Gennaio is Italian for January. She's named after the woman that rescued her. Gennaio is a petite, confident, well-mannered, young cat who blended into her foster family with ease. After being caged due to lack of foster space, she was miserable and desperate to find her own space. She quickly learned the routines of the house, and responded with pets, purrs, and head buts. While she doesn't say much, it is easy to understand what she wants. She likes to be around her foster humans and will look at them with loving and appreciative eyes. She happily curls up in a chair with her foster mom for naps. She is a sweet companion. She would be good for a first time adopters. One great behavior that she loves doing is carrying her toy mouse.  She doesn't chase the toy but picks it up and walks around the home. Gennaio is a 1 year old spayed female with up to date shots.
